I recently discovered this great little tissue holder for the car. Keeps your tissue in a convenient place without cluttering up your console or requiring you to go hunting and hazard your life/other lives in the process! This fetching design, along with a myriad of others, is available here.
Also, when you purchase something like this from an indie Etsy crafter/artist you are supporting creatives who would otherwise go mad from working some sort of inane job and suppressing their creativity. Thereby, I think it safe to say that you just might be saving their sanity or, dare I say, their very life......you never know. Regardless, it makes you feel a little more heroic while you spend money.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!
I am a longtime fan of J Crew and an even bigger fan of color! I'm not one of those who believes that color should be reserved for Spring & Summer and that we should be limited to dreary hues the rest of the year. Non-Summer is when you most need a spark of life and warmth in your daily routine. Pretty stupid to go with the archaic mindset of a Winter drab uniform and deny yourself a little cheer. Here are a few new pieces from J Crew for Fall/Winter that caught my eye and would add a little punch to the grayer months. Check out the Fall scene at J Crew.
I have always loved stationery and the accoutrements that go with it. Growing up, I was far more attached to office supplies, stickers, paper and art materials than any doll or stuffed animal. I guess that nothing much has changed and I am still just as much a sucker for such things. Take this gorgeous custom address stamp from Etsy seller Primele available here. Absolutely beautiful!
HERE'S HOPING THAT YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

Charter design blogger and gifted writer Courtney Barnes is the editor/creator of Style Court and has been featuring an ongoing series for the past 2 years called "Artists Palette's". It's a very interesting behind-the-scenes look at artists palettes and work spaces including, Lulu de Kwiatkowski, Virginia Johnson, Dana Gibson, Amanda Talley, Patricia van Essche and myself. If you haven't been following it, then take a chance to check it out now here. As a side note, I had the privilege of creating Courtney's blog header and you can see her post on my palette here. She also created this colorful photo collage of some of the featured artists.

Blue and white is a time-honored classic, add tile to that pairing and it gets even better.....
Portugese company Boca Do Lobohas recently introduced this amazing new cabinet that is a limited edition piece made from an expertly curated ensemble of hand-painted tiles. How's that for a unique piece?
Not your typical generic cabinet - very cool!
A real work of art straight from Portugal, traditionally known for their phenomenal legacy in tile design.
